When owner Kyle Whelan discovered an opportunity in 2017 to lead an existing local trailer business from good to great, he expertly took over the steering wheel and TRAILER KING was established.
Since childhood Kyle has fostered a lifelong passion and skill set revolving around unique, fun vehicles and the engines that power them. As an adult, he became a true automobile aficionado, dedicated to growing his knowledge for almost anything with tires or a motor. A lifelong owner of many fast cars, ATV’s, motorcycles and boats led Kyle to utilize several types of quality transport trailers over the years. Also a huge fan and owner of various heavy landscaping & hauling equipment, Kyle knew the trailer industry would be a natural match with his real life experiences. The rest is now recent history and continues to evolve in exciting new ways daily here at Trailer King in Bluff City.
Kyle retired from his first career as a successful wealth management planner, he now strives to embody the same proven success strategies and principles of integrity to grow Trailer King. He is known for his honesty, transparency, clear straight-forward communication and solid business sense. Kyle does not believe in cutting corners. He knows a business is only as good and profitable as a team is happy, and as a customer is satisfied. Therefore, it remains the Trailer King goal to never deviate from this mission.
Today with his wife Tiffany, also a former successful business owner, together they remain deeply committed to all aspects of Trailer King. Planning a continued forward trajectory of positive growth keeps them both invested in all aspects of the business. “Our valued clients, who are often our friends and neighbors, have needs that are at the root of the many products and services we provide. However, even as product needs change and evolve, the need for phenomenal customer service never diminishes, and we know that fact.”
Kyle and Tiffany take extreme pride in the awesome team at Trailer King, with reliable, knowledgeable and super friendly professionals. Our Trailer King team goes out of their way daily to create satisfied customers and maintain a solid reputation for excellence. Managing with real “heart”, self-proclaimed “Trailer QUEENS” Penny and Linnea bring consistent down-home caring to the business and patrons, keeping it running like a well-oiled machine. Mechanics Dan and Jim blow us away with their incredible problem-solving abilities!
